In September Snohomish City Toastmasters held our first club speaking contest! We sent our president, Leah, to the Area 13 contest as our club representative for the Humorous Speaking and Table Topics events.
The Area 13 contest was held Oct. 2 and Leah is advancing to the next round of competition in the Table Topics event.
Toastmaster contests are on optional, but fun, part of the Toastmasters program. They give members an opportunity to put their speaking skills to the test against other Toastmasters members in the area.
The Division A contest will be held Saturday, October 16th, in Mount Vernon.
