A visit from the President! George Yen, President of Toastmasters International.

On November 8th, George Yen, the President of Toastmasters International visited our Snohomish City Toastmasters Club. We were very honored to have him join us. We are grateful to our past and present leadership team who created a club worthy of such an honor. Mr. Yen spoke about how Toastmasters provided the opportunity to practice English, and public speaking. He has been quoted as saying that Toastmasters is "a practice field," or "dao chang," for personal growth.

Special guest, Area 16 Governor, Todd Cudaback.

On November 15th, Todd Cudaback, our Area Governor, will give a presentation titled “Crafting Your Speech”. Meetings are open for all to attend, this also is a good time to learn more about Toastmasters.

Snohomish City Toastmasters Achieves President’s Distinguished Club Status!

Presidents Distinguished is the highest honor a Toastmasters club can earn. Fewer than 10 percent of the 13,000 clubs worldwide reach this status each year.

The Distinguished Club Program (DCP) is an annual recognition program for clubs. This distinction signifies that this club offers a higher-quality club experience for all of its members. Its meetings are successful, productive, structured, and enthusiastic. This club reinforces the supportive, educational atmosphere for each member at every meeting.

Come see how we can help you improve your communication and leadership skills during our club meeting held 7:30 a.m.-8:45 a.m., every Friday at the Rock City Café Banquet Room in Snohomish!

Same Location, Different Name!

The Snohomish City Toastmasters club now meets in the banquet room of the Rock City Café, previously known as the Java Inn Coffee Roasters. It is the same location, but with a new name. Rock City Café roasts its own coffee locally. Thank you to the new owners for hosting our meeting location.
